This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses CoreRift Gate (the "Service"), operated by Core Rift LLC, doing business as Core Rift Gate ("CoreRift," "we," "us"). It is part of our Terms of Service and exists to keep the Service safe and available for everybody.
1. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- send spam, or email people who did not ask for it or have no transactional relationship with your site;
- collect information from people without the notice and consent the law requires, or collect information about children under 13;
- publish legal documents, announcements or status pages that are deceptive or that impersonate another business;
- harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone;
- host or send malware, or content that is unlawful, infringing or sexually exploits children.
2. Security and Integrity
You may not:
- try to reach data or sites that are not shared with you;
- guess or brute-force codes or keys, or help anyone else do so;
- probe, scan or test the Service's security or limits without our written permission;
- point uptime monitors at systems you do not own or have permission to check, or use monitors to overload any system;
- work around plan limits, rate limits or access controls;
- overload the Service, or scrape it beyond normal use of the dashboard and API.
3. Reselling and Competing Services
You may not resell, sublicense or share access to the Service except by sharing your own sites through its People tab, or use the Service to build a competing service from its code or content.
4. Enforcement
We may remove content, pause email or monitors, limit features, suspend a site or account, and report conduct to the authorities when we believe the law requires it. Where we can, we will warn you first and explain what is wrong; for serious or urgent problems we may act immediately. If you think we made a mistake, write to us and we will look again.
5. Reporting a Problem
To report abuse by a website that uses the Service, email us with the website's address and what happened.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Each version is posted here with its effective date, and earlier versions remain available.
